The Tax Inspection Board (VDK) officially launched the E-Audit System (e-İnceleme Sistemi) on July 1, 2025. What is the E-Audit System in Turkey?

The E-Audit System in Turkey is an integrated digital platform that enables taxpayers to submit their e-books, financial documents, and other required files digitally to tax inspectors, and to sign official audit reports (tutanak) electronically.

All communication and documentation during a tax audit can now be managed remotely — eliminating the need for physical delivery, in-person meetings, or wet signatures.

  3. Authorized persons must be defined in the Authorization Identification System.
  4. Those authorized must possess a qualified electronic signature in compliance with Law No. 5070 in Turkey.

Once these conditions are met, companies can use the e-Audit System without any separate application.

How to Access the System?

Taxpayers can log in to the system using the “Inquiry Number (Sorgu No)” provided in the official Audit Commencement Notification. This number is unique to each inspection and must be used throughout the digital document submission and report-signing process.

Integration with e-Viz: A Stronger Audit Infrastructure

The e-Viz System, which was launched in 2023 for signing audit reports electronically, has now been fully integrated under the E-Audit System structure. This consolidation creates a more robust and unified digital auditing platform in Turkey.
